The cathedral “Notre-Dame de Paris” was built on an island in the Seine located in the historic center of Paris. With is characteristic silhouette, it is one of the most renowned and most important buildings of this city and far beyond its city limits. Since 1991, this awe-inspiring gothic cathedral has been one of the World Heritage Sites of UNESCO. The cathedral was seriously damaged by a disastrous fire in April 2019. Its reconstruction will take several years.

La cattedrale di Notre Dame a Parigi

La cattedrale di Notre Dame si erge maestosa su un’isola della Senna nel centro storico di Parigi. Con la sua caratteristica silhouette è uno dei monumenti più conosciuti e significativi della città e la sua fama si estende ben oltre i confini del paese. Dal 1991 quest’imponente chiesa gotica è patrimonio dell’umanità dell’UNESCO. L’edificio è stato seriamente danneggiato da un grave incendio nell’aprile del 2019 e la sua ricostruzione richiederà molti anni. Kathedraal "Notre-Dame" in Parijs

De kathedraal "Notre-Dame" staat op een eilandje in de Seine in het historische centrum van Parijs.  Met haar karakteristieke silhouet is zij een van de bekendste en belangrijkste bouwwerken van deze stad en ver daarbuiten. Sinds 1991 staat deze indrukwekkende gotische kerk op de Werelderfgoedlijst van de UNESCO. Door een grote brand in april 2019 is de kathedraal zwaar beschadigd. De wederopbouw zal jaren gaan duren.
