Ogni anno la fioritura dei ciliegi è un'occasione di festa tutta speciale in Giappone. Quando centinaia di migliaia di teneri boccioli si schiudono avvolgendo di rosa l'intero paese, il cuore della gente si riempie di gioia. Gli abitanti fanno picnic sotto la cupola rosata o si recano in pellegrinaggio al loro monte sacro, il Fujiyama, godendosi la rinascita dell'universo. Het motief: “Kersenbloesems in Japan”
Een bijzonder feest is elk jaar de bloeitijd van de kersenbomen in Japan. Als de tere bloesems met honderdduizenden bloeien en het hele land in een droom van roze hullen, is dat een feest voor de mensen; zij picknicken onder dit roze dak of maken een pelgrimstocht naar hun heilige berg, de Fujiyama.
